Renewal of Enzisweiler transport station
The renovation of the Enzisweiler transport station included the replacement of the platforms. Due to the geological conditions, a deep foundation was required. This was carried out in the form of a special proposal instead of the originally planned bored piles with micropiles. The special proposal minimised the impact on the environment and shortened the construction time.
A total of 368 micropiles with a total length of 3140 linear metres were installed for the deep foundations of the platform.
The cable crossing under the track was constructed using the pressing method. A cofferdam construction with 238m² of sheet piling and 75 linear metres of threaded tie rods was used to create the start and finish pits.
