Due to the geological situation encountered during the construction of the new apartment block St. Georg 5-9 in Ruhpolding, which was built in two construction phases, a watertight construction pit shoring was required for the second construction phase. The shoring was designed as a closed, sealed sheet pile box. The shoring was a temporary excavation support measure with a shoring area of 1,388 square metres and a cofferdam construction in the area of the crane location.
